One variation that's highly sought after by vintage PAF players is a pickup that is quiet, bright, and very dynamic. The PAF Master Neck Model is truly special. It has a great balance of full, richness with a throaty tone but it's not too fat and notes still come through nice and clear, with beautiful smooth and creamy highs. We gave it just the right amount of windings to allow the pickup to sing, sustain and still be articulate. The PAF Master Neck Model: vintage just got better.

i have a black one in my genesis but wanted another one, preferably white, for my modded other genesis. i couldn't believe it when i found it here and the best price around, i kid you not! i love the woody paf tone, despite being medium output, it is excellent for shredding JAZZ and with great string separation. i prefer playing on the neck pickup so this is perfect for me. n.b interesting that dimarzio really seem to suit ibanez guitars more than bare knuckles..
